Our little Chloé is turning three, and we are celebrating in the most beautiful way we know — surrounded by the rolling hills of Tuscany at Locanda Santa Caterina, with the people we love most, and a whole lot of laughter.
Expect lawn games, a mini treasure hunt, bubbles, and plenty of space to run around.
Locanda Santa Caterina — a beautiful property just 15 minutes from Florence, surrounded by olive groves and cypress trees.
This is a small, close-knit gathering — just the people who mean the world to us.
A few of our favourite moments with Chloé
A loose plan — because the best moments are always the unplanned ones.

Locanda Santa Caterina is easy to reach from Florence — here's how to find us.
Approximately 15 minutes from Florence city centre. Parking is available on site. We recommend using Google Maps or Waze with the address: Via del Carota, 31, 50012 Bagno a Ripoli FI.
Florence Santa Maria Novella (SMN) is the main train station. From there, a taxi or rideshare takes about 15–20 minutes to Locanda Santa Caterina. We recommend booking in advance on busy summer days.
The nearest airport is Florence Airport (FLR), about 20 minutes away. Pisa Airport (PSA) is also a good option, roughly 1 hour by car or train.
We're celebrating childhood, sunshine, and the pure joy of being alive — dress to reflect that spirit.
Think flowy dresses, linen trousers, and florals in joyful summer colours — yellow, pink, red, blue, and green all feel perfectly at home.
Most importantly: wear comfortable shoes. There will be lawn games, a treasure hunt, and plenty of dancing — heels are not advised!
For the little ones: play-friendly outfits are very much encouraged — they will be running, dancing, and having the time of their lives.

Florence and the surrounding Tuscan hills offer endless ways to extend your visit. Here are a few ideas to inspire your trip.
One of the world's greatest art museums, home to Botticelli's Birth of Venus and countless Renaissance masterpieces. Book tickets in advance.
Spend a morning or afternoon driving through the Chianti wine region — rolling vineyards, medieval villages, and excellent local wine and olive oil.
Glide along the Arno on a small boat and see Florence from the water — the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, and the city's rooftops from a completely different angle. A magical experience for all ages.
Florence is home to some of the world's best gelato. Our top picks: Gelateria dei Neri, Brac, and Vivoli — the oldest gelateria in the city.
Several companies offer guided e-bike tours through the Tuscan countryside, suitable for families. A wonderful way to see the landscape at a gentle pace.
Learn to make fresh pasta from a Florentine nonna. Many cooking schools offer family-friendly classes — a delicious memory to take home.
Because this will be a small and intimate celebration, every seat at the table is precious. We would be so grateful if you could let us know whether you'll be able to join us — it helps us make sure everything is just right for the day.
